Blessing of the Vines and Wine Tasting Reception

On Saturday, April 17, start the day at Delaney Vineyards as hundreds of wine enthusiasts gather to take part in the Blessing of the Vines and New Vintage Wines, a centuries-old European ceremony to ensure robust vines and savory grapes.

New Vintage Wine Trail

This events starts at Delaney Vineyards with the annual "Blessing of the Vines". The city of Grapevine sponsors this blessing. After the blessing from Noon to 5 PM, Delaney will host its annual New Vintage Wine release event. We will serve four wine tastes, a bowl of Irish Stew and bread and a two man guitar band will perform. More information and details can be obtained from th City of Grapevine web site.

Delaney Vineyard 14th Annual Grape Stomp and Harvest

We will announce the date of the Stomp in mid July after we evaluate this years grape crop..more to follow.

Join Jerry Delaney and his Vineyard Staff as they host the 14th annual Delaney Vineyards and Winery Harvest and Grape Stomp. The public is welcome to assist in the harvesting of the 2009 crop of Cynthiana grapes from the Delaney Vineyard.

Following the harvest an old fashioned grape stomp will be featured on the Delaney Vineyards Crush Pad. Children and adults can climb into a vat and stomp the grapes that were just harvested from the vineyard.

The event is great fun for the entire family. Get ready to get purple!

The Vineyard Fun Run

Come for a morning run, and stay for wine tasting and live jazz music with Gloria D'Arezzo & Friends.
